Clothing & Jewelry HAUL!: Lovisa + Dotti + Glassons remark

Clothing & Jewelry I am a huge fan of J-41 and Jambu (same brand) shoes. They have this magical way of designing shoes that might look kind of plain in a photo or on the rack, but that look adorable on your feet. The best part, though, is that they are amazingly comfortable.THE GOOD:For strappy sandals, these are extremely comfortable. The footbed feels like a sneaker -- you can easily spend your entire day walking around in them without a problem as long as the straps don't bother you.THE NOT-SO-GOOD:The only comfort issue is that the straps are a little uncomfortable. Because they are a synthetic made to look like leather, they're kind of stiff and scratchy. Overall they are not too bad, but if you are used to the feel of real leather straps, which tend to be a bit softer (and which get softer over time as you break them in), these are a little bit of a rude awakening. The other complaint I have about these shoes is that the velcro closure is a bit annoying. The straps are so thin that the velcro doesn't get a great grip on itself all the time, and my straps will slip open now and then. It's a quick fix, but I wonder how well they will hold up over time. I've only had mine for about a month, and it doesn't seem to be getting any worse, but we'll see.NOTEWORTHY:The length is true-to-size but the width is slightly wider than a standard B width shoe (which seems common to most J-41 and Jambu brand shoes). If you have narrower feet, you might not like these very much. The floral decoration on the sole is noticeable while you're wearing it. It makes it look a bit more casual than if it was plain, I think. I like it, but I know not everyone might.

I had already purchased the "Bronze" pair of these, see my review for that pair below. These are identical but for color. What I can add to this review is that these two pair are on my feet all the time now because of how comfortable they are and how cute they look with jeans. I get a lot of comments on them.I'm short, 5'3" and so I also love the extra height they give me without having to experience any of the pain normally associated with high heeled shoes. My only wish is that they came in more colors.**I can't say enough about the comfort of these shoes. I work in a surgical center on concrete floors and you'd never know it by wearing these clogs. I found the strap adjustment to be a little difficult, but I might chalk some of that up to slightly arthritic fingers. Once the adjustment is done however, you are good to go and no further adjusting is necessary. These run a tad big but then I always knew I was going to wear them with socks and so they work perfect for me.I normally wear a 6.5 US women's size. I ordered the 6.0. Excellent fit with a smidgen of room still at the heel end of the shoe. These shoes are also deceptively featherweight given what the image appears like. When the box arrived and I pulled the shoe box out of the shipping box, I swear I thought it was empty. That's how light these shoes are. And it makes a big difference when you're on them for a 10-12 hour shift.Loved them so much, I bought a second pair.
Clothing & Jewelry HAUL!: Lovisa + Dotti + Glassons remark
Clothing & Jewelry I looked at a lot of these types of shoes meant to tone as you walk especially with regards to effectiveness and look. These shoes were the best by far. They don't look weird like some of the more clunky sketcher type of toning shoes, they actually look more like regular sneakers. They are very comfortable and the top is just netting so your feet get air as you are walking which is a very nice bonus. I was looking for a pair of shoes that would help me with my back pain while walking as I have a herniated disc and walking for long periods of time aggravates it. These shoes make me pain free! I love them to go walking or even shopping because of their comfort. I would recommend these to everyone who wants a phenomenal walking or jogging experience!
